On June 9, 2019, MDSD members Sharon with K9's Miko and Titan, Becky with K9 Rossby, Chelsea, and Nick particpated in a PR event for Girl Scout Troop 223. We discussed not only what we do but the importance of safety. Fun was had by all especially the dogs who soaked up all the attention. Thank you Troop 223 for having us.

MDSD was honored to receive a very generous donation from The Grainger Foundation on August 10, 2019. Iain McLean from Grainger, along with his daughters, presented the check on behalf of the foundation. We were proud to have them stay to watch our dogs (and handlers) work. Thank you so much!

We had a great time at National Night Out at the Hampstead Fire Company on August 6, 2019. K9s Miko, Titan, and Luna loved the attention.

Recently, Diana with K9 Gully and Sharon with K9s Miko and Titan attended an event at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center to speak to people about SAR and to provide demonstrations. The kids loved hiding for Gully and giving him his food reward. Gully loved finding them and receiving his goodies. Win/win for all involved.
